The 4th begins with the Moon in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is the symbol of government head and big business. The Moon will change signs during the day. When reading a standard astrological calendar it would appear that the Moon is void of course at 1:47 a.m. when the Moon is 60° (sextile) Mars. I will not use this time because there are two more considerations; at 9:22 a.m. the Capricorn Moon could be considered void of course when it forms its last aspect to Jupiter -- Moon parallel Jupiter. This is one of the best aspects that the Moon could have before leaving a sign. But there is another factor. Mercury will change signs at 10:59 a.m. a time to measure the beginning of the void of course period -- the reason being is that prior to Mercury's sign change, the Moon is engaged in a desperate chase to catch up with Mercury before it leaves Libra (ruled by Venus). In this case the last aspect of the Moon is 90° square to Mercury. Mercury holds valid information promised to the Moon, but Mercury leaves the sign before the Moon can catch him. Just a couple of notes of what this means to us. You could miss your ride or an important call. You may not have the paperwork required for the day so plan ahead and take valid identification to show at the polls. For the aspects of the day: At 12:30 a.m. Mercury and Pluto engage in a positive discussion of opportunities with a 60° aspect. This is the last time Mercury will speak to Pluto while Pluto is in his final days in Sagittarius. This pair delivers strong motivational push toward change calling up every contact imaginable to affect a positive outcome. Perhaps this may indicate that the electoral delegates have already made up their minds or are being pressured by past favors. At 2:44 a.m. Mars in Scorpio pokes a hole in Neptune's illusion with a 90° square. Or the mischievous tricksters are out to dupe the public. It also may be seen as a strong dose of anesthesia or a poison arrow. Pray that all are protected. Exact at 8:33 a.m. on November 4th Saturn and Uranus are in opposition. This reminds me of a zipper quickly ripping open with sharp teeth cutting through anything in its way. Globally some things may be a surprise and other things have already surprised us. During this time Mercury is at the final degree of Libra could indicate a mix up with data or in this case voting machines. At 10:59 a.m. Mercury enters Scorpio (ruled by Pluto) giving a fair chance to the voting process which can be traced with a forensic investigation if necessary (a Scorpio action). Certainly Mercury in Scorpio indicates passionate voters that are willing to go to any length to elect their candidate. This will increase the lines at the polls as the commitment is powerful and fear motivates many that saw their candidate lose in the last two elections. There are number to call if you experience any problems at the voting polls; for one- call the CNN voter hot line at 877-GOCNN08. At 11:00 a.m. the Moon is void of course until it enters Aquarius at 7:03 p.m. Aquarius is the sign of ecology and the people as a whole. It has a uniting quality and is the same Moon sign for the chart of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 when Pluto was also in Capricorn. During the void Moon period the most creative energy is available with a rather magical quality that can work for or against a desired outcome. Whatever your plans are on November 4, 2008, please include your vote in this most important election since the foundation of the United States. Conclusion: with the strong Neptune influence to confuse matters there may be cause to delay the outcome until the occultation of the Moon passes on November 6th. However I don't feel strongly about that. But that is the nature of Neptune = false illusions. Do not imagine your vote dose not count. Please vote. |
