  • The action this week is large enough to catapult our current reality by a quantum leap. Travel is risky. There may be great advances made this week aside from the antics of government applying another portion of abuse of power. Keep the focus on your goals and think big- very big. In the end, if there is a great will - there is a way. Don't mess with anyone you don't know well and take all the help you can get. The presence of deep anger can be released through a deep therapeutic process now. It is time to begin a huge clean up this week.
There is so much intense activity expected with some of the most powerful configurations this year. The stories begin with a combative square between the Sun in Virgo and Mars in Gemini. Mars is up to no good as its energies are scattered beyond his skills to contain chaos. Mars in Gemini is at a disadvantage, wandering aimlessly at moving targets and spinning excuses for bad behavior. Mars is moving into a long opposition to Pluto in Sagittarius that will not complete until March 8, 2008. At that time Pluto has stepped over the zero Capricorn point to transform big business and government in ways that we have not seen since the mid 1700's, all of which is further set off by Wednesday's First Quarter Moon at the 26° Sagittarius Galactic Center when the Sun is square Pluto and the Moon joins Pluto.
This begins a series of serious matters that may present as steamrolling or brute force that Mars and Pluto combinations are forever famous. Expect an increase in fires, rage and obsessive-compulsive behaviors that instigated by nervous energy. There is a pulling and struggling at both sides of power. There may be a deep conflict with intensity that pressures for a drastic change in volatile situations. The good news is that there are desires to cut a new pattern and design a renovated and upgraded version of an old system. Some old systems will be terminated altogether. The steamroller response is applied to any resistance as the advances to dominate and overpower others are too strong for comfort. (Iran comes to mind.) There is a sense that those in power are willing to mow others down for their own selfish needs. Huge earth-moving equipment is present with this configuration. Paranoia runs high but is difficult to discriminate between reality and tricks of the mind.
    Transits: 2007 Good Days
The Good Days are once again hinged upon a decent aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius who acts as a hungry hound at the end of that sign, requiring you feed him and his litany of demands before tending to your own needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit. When other planets are very late in a sign then their symbolism has the last word as the transiting Moon forms its last aspect before leaving a sign. There are some exceptions when the Moon is in Libra and Aquarius it forms an aspect of opportunity, sextile to Pluto; while in Aries and Leo the Moon forms a harmonious trine to Pluto. Of course this applies when no other planet transits the final degrees of any sign or equal in declination with the Moon.

    Moon "Out of Bounds
Since the summer of 2001 the Moon has been traveling very high in the sky because its range in declination shots beyond the 23°27' line at the Tropic of Cancer in the northern sky and beyond the 23°27' Tropic of Capricorn in the southern sky. The Sun reaches its maximum north or south declination at these two boundaries at the summer solstice and winter solstice. When the Moon travels very high into these out of bounds zones it is not only higher in the sky but we seem to have stronger emotional reactions to events during these times. Here I will include the days of the month when the Moon travels out-of-bounds in declination. Times are rounded off to the nearest half hour.
Starting for the Month of July 2007, the Moon travels out-of bounds during these periods:
  • June 26 - 8:30 p.m., through July 1st at 10:00 p.m.
  • July 10 - 7:00 a.m. through July 14 - 8:30 p.m.
  • July 24 - 3:30 a.m. through July 29 -8:00 a.m.
  • Not again until August 6 - 11:00 a.m. until
        August 11th, 6:00 a.m.
  • August 20-25
  • September 2-7
  • September 16-22
  • September 30 - October 4
  • October 14-19
  • October 27-31

    MOON/SUN MIDPOINT CHANGES INFO

Try looking at your surrounding circumstances through the view of the Moon and Sun midpoint.  This is the point where you meet others halfway or the point of collaboration. It is a marriage point of sorts – or a merging or compromising point.  It may help to learn what energy promotes this agreement point between family members, other people or companies.  If a planet is adversely situated by square or opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty situated by a square or an opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty coming to agreements or obstacles in the path.

These midpoints do not follow an obvious pattern and will fall out of zodiacal order when the Moon crosses over the opposition point at a Full Moon.

People are more open and direct with one another with creative ideas when the midpoint travels through fire signs (Fire Signs - Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).

People are secretive with one another operating with hidden agendas when the midpoint travels through water signs (Water Signs- Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).

People tend to be more social and intellectual when this point travels through air signs (Air Signs - Gemini, Libra and Aquarius).

People are more practical and methodical, and are able to function in a traditional, cooperative and goal oriented manner. Money and business is important especially with Taurus and Capricorn. Service and the task is the goal with Virgo midpoints. (Earth Signs -Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn).

    • People are more open and direct with one another with creative ideas when the midpoint travels through fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius)
    • People are secretive with one another operating with hidden agendas when the midpoint travels through water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).
    • People tend to be more social and intellectual when this point travels through air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius).

    Please read my
article on Refranations as they are an important astrological event marker.

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

However, when we dropped the table format, alas, others protested! So we are still experimenting and for this week have decided to combine the two flavors, in both a simplified, narrative form, as well as the spreadsheet form. Please let us know what you think.

With an Aquarius Moon the unusual, brand-new, and bizarre are the order of the day. This is usually a more social time with the unexpected as the norm. Aquarius rules anything very strange or alien in nature. Emotions are more erratic with unpredictable expressions. When independence streak is triggered some people express themselves with alienating behaviors becomes obvious. This is also true with nations, and companies, etc. There is a sense or expectation of change, and for some it may feel like impending doom. For others a strong surge of hope is evident. Aquarius is a fixed sign, indicating that things may not really change but evolve to the level of social consciousness. This may be a good time for revelations and awakenings. Aquarius rules mirrors or tape recorders, where reflection and repetitiveness are modes of behavior. Incessant talkers are reported, debating any passing point.
