Don't miss out on the planetary aspects at the end of the Report to fill in the blanks on most days.
Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.

  • Venus is stationary today and turning direct after a long a difficult retrograde period that began on July 27, 2007. Many people experienced this Venus retrograde to be more like a Mercury retrograde period with many costly breakdowns in various areas. Venus turned retrograde in the sign of Virgo which contributed to the Mercurial quality of its retrograde period, which began at 2° Virgo 57' and today stations at 16° Leo 35'. Saturn recently entered Virgo and will also station at the beginning of Virgo when it turns direct next May 2, 2008 at 1° Virgo 40'. Saturn's retrograde station begins on December 19, 2007 at 8° Virgo 34'. The Venus and Saturn focus on these degrees will be further activated when a Lunar Eclipse occurs at 1° Virgo 52' on February 20, 2008. Certainly we can begin to see the economic patterns respond to these events. Relationships that have a public importance such as an engagement of Prince William would also cluster around these dates. Saturn currently will transit 1° Virgo 40' or September 15 beginning its intense attachment to the following seven degrees as it will pass this way again three times. The saying that things happen in threes comes to mind.
More excitement this week is expected with the solar eclipse on Tuesday morning at 8:44 a.m. This eclipse has a jack-in-the-box quality as the eclipse opposes Uranus. This will be set off early as the Sun opposes Uranus on Sunday afternoon. Anything could happen. Days later the Sun will quincunx (150°) Neptune bringing the usual symbolism of a big mess along with it. Although there are some creative benefits to the Sun and Neptune aspect, I suspect there will be problems of a mysterious or clandestine nature to unravel.

    Transits: 2007 Good Days
The Good Days are once again hinged upon a decent aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius who acts as a hungry hound at the end of that sign, requiring you feed him and his litany of demands before tending to your own needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit. When other planets are very late in a sign then their symbolism has the last word as the transiting Moon forms its last aspect before leaving a sign. There are some exceptions when the Moon is in Libra and Aquarius it forms an aspect of opportunity, sextile to Pluto; while in Aries and Leo the Moon forms a harmonious trine to Pluto. Of course this applies when no other planet transits the final degrees of any sign or equal in declination with the Moon.

    Good Days this week are:
    Sept. 8 beginning at 12:15 p.m. until Sept. 9 at 7:54 p.m.
    Sept. 12 beginning at 7:21 a.m. until Sept. 14 at 6:20 p.m.
    Sept. 14 at 7:36 p.m. until Sept. 17 at 12:55 a.m.

    Moon "Out of Bounds
Since the summer of 2001 the Moon has been traveling very high in the sky because its range in declination shots beyond the 23°27' line at the Tropic of Cancer in the northern sky and beyond the 23°27' Tropic of Capricorn in the southern sky. The Sun reaches its maximum north or south declination at these two boundaries at the summer solstice and winter solstice. When the Moon travels very high into these out of bounds zones it is not only higher in the sky but we seem to have stronger emotional reactions to events during these times. Here I will include the days of the month when the Moon travels out-of-bounds in declination. Times are rounded off to the nearest half hour.
Starting for the Month of July 2007, the Moon travels out-of bounds during these periods:
  • June 26 - 8:30 p.m., through July 1st at 10:00 p.m.
  • July 10 - 7:00 a.m. through July 14 - 8:30 p.m.
  • July 24 - 3:30 a.m. through July 29 -8:00 a.m.
  • Not again until August 6 - 11:00 a.m. until
        August 11th, 6:00 a.m.
  • August 20-25
  • September 2-7

  • September 30 - October 4

    MOON/SUN MIDPOINT CHANGES INFO

Try looking at your surrounding circumstances through the view of the Moon and Sun midpoint.  This is the point where you meet others halfway or the point of collaboration. It is a marriage point of sorts – or a merging or compromising point.  It may help to learn what energy promotes this agreement point between family members, other people or companies.  If a planet is adversely situated by square or opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty situated by a square or an opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty coming to agreements or obstacles in the path.

These midpoints do not follow an obvious pattern and will fall out of zodiacal order when the Moon crosses over the opposition point at a Full Moon.

People are more open and direct with one another with creative ideas when the midpoint travels through fire signs (Fire Signs - Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).

People are secretive with one another operating with hidden agendas when the midpoint travels through water signs (Water Signs- Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).

People tend to be more social and intellectual when this point travels through air signs (Air Signs - Gemini, Libra and Aquarius).

People are more practical and methodical, and are able to function in a traditional, cooperative and goal oriented manner. Money and business is important especially with Taurus and Capricorn. Service and the task is the goal with Virgo midpoints. (Earth Signs -Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn).

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

Dear Weekly Report Readers: While some of you seemed to really enjoy the new color-coded table format for the Report, others did not. However, when we dropped the table format, alas, others protested! So we are still experimenting and for this week have decided to combine the two flavors, in both a simplified, narrative form, as well as the spreadsheet form. Please let us know what you think.

MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE AFTER SEXTILE PLUTO (7th Sign to 9th Sign) - Sep 14 2007

    MOON ENTERS SCORPIO (8th Sign) - Sep 14 2007
Scorpio Moons direct emotions inward. People tend to react to psychological slights, real or imagined. "Payback" or "getting even" is often a mode of behavior. Threats can be used as a tactic of reaching one's objective. Often there are issues regarding other people's money, loans or insurance claims. Scorpio is a money sign, so there may be checks in the mail. A Scorpio Moon is a powerhouse for resources. This serious Moon surprisingly has a very funny sense of humor and considers sarcasm an art form. Sexuality is on the surface. Power struggles become the mode of the day as many strive for total control over their own interest. Watch out for the inevitable Scorpion Sting, Brooding and ugly behavior is a common mood with a focus on family disputes such as estate settlements. Scorpio Moons are passionate with the object of their attention and at time driven to obsessive behavior often with a need to create drama and a sense of dire urgency around issues. This is a good time to engage in subjects of where your extreme focus is required. Anything less may bring a period of frustration and boredom for Scorpio is a driven sign designed to maintain a high level of intensity. Other Scorpio themes may include information regarding pregnancies, births, deaths and their related estates, insurance and accounting matters. As a rule this Moon is very good for conducting business with loans, mortgages and estates. These days of the Scorpio Moon are not for lightweights. Know your opponent and be extremely well prepared. If you take on a major challenge it would be best to camouflage any sign of weakness. A good sparing partner is sometimes what the big guy or bully is seeking.
When you are opposing assertive experts you are not equally matched. However, if you objective is to find someone to represent you that possess these skills, find your gladiator now. The best way to deal with hired guns is to keep in mind that he/she may use their skills against you, so set clear boundaries from the onset of your relationship. Take special care with things worth protecting; not exposing what is precious to unsuitable elements. These days are best used for elimination of waste, reorganizing finances and otherwise digging out from money drains in your business and personal accounts. Retail business often does very well during a Scorpio Moon as purchases tend to be significant. Selfishness and other nasty behaviors push relationships to the limit. On a personal level, taking steps to set you free of tormenting issues with a counselor is a positive use of Scorpio's need to transform. Accept the things you cannot change, change the things you can and be perfectly clear about the difference. A visit to your acupuncturist or massage therapist can assist with deep healing techniques that work best when the Moon is in Scorpio. This is a very good sign for planting, as it is moist and productive especially for vines. Also prune and irrigate during the Scorpio Moon.

The ruling planet for Scorpio is Pluto, now traveling through Sagittarius which is increasing intensity at its final degrees. It is currently at the Galactic Center (26° Sagittarius) which is the point where our Sun is located in our Galaxy, the Milky Way. The Moon, representing our daily needs and behaviors will have to deal with the tough controlling Plutonian characters with nearly all our affairs because Pluto is so late in the sign and the Moon forms its last aspect from most every sign to this heavy dark lord that holds court over, what once was, routine agendas unencumbered by red tape, adjusters, police and loan officers. Pluto at the end of Sagittarius for the next couple of years, carries heavy issues to a higher level or higher understanding - drudging up issues of irresponsibility where the pressure to change has not been greater in over 240 years. If you are a Scorpio, your power planet is transforming your solar second house of money, possessions and talents.
