Don't miss out on the planetary aspects at the end of the Report to fill in the blanks on most days.
Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.
Also, be sure to check out the Lunar Gestation Cycle and Moon Charts!

  • Today's Last Quarter Moon is special because it is related to a Solar Eclipse from April 8, 2005 at 8° Aries. Remembering back to that date, Pope John Paul died and his funeral postponed Prince Charles and Camilla's wedding day. The events related to that eclipse began developing around in January that year around Bush's second presidential inauguration. By the time the Full Moon occurred last October 2006, the country was campaigning to replace as many Republicans with Democratic seats as possible with a loud call to end this senseless Iraqi war. Here we are at the last stage of a long couple of years with no hope of ending the war and eighteen more months of Cheney/Bush.
The Last Quarter Moon is a good thing to pay off or get paid. Maybe the stuck money period will get a break before the up and coming Venus retrograde eats up the proceeds. Venus rules love, money, peace and goodwill.
Venus has caught my eye this weekend, while many are focused on Mercury to end this awful retrograde period (of which I personally thought was far worse than any I can remember). It took its toll on all levels, not allowing the smallest thing to pass without a twist. My heart goes out to those who lost their darling pets. Monday nights' direct station won't be a minute too soon at 10:16 p.m. but, it's not until Tuesday' Gemini Moon that brings a little break.
Interestingly Venus plays a role in this week's Gemini Moon, making it the first Good Gemini Moon all year. The Moon's last aspect before leaving that sign has had to pay homage to the hungry hound Pluto each time the Moon passed through Gemini. This time Venus gets the last good word before the Moon leaves Gemini on Thursday and it Venus takes the stage all week. So make your calls and send your e-mails and resumes. But most of all mend all of the sorry and tattered tales from the past several weeks.
Venus then is cosmically running around to meet with everyone in her circle. First she'll cozy up to Neptune with a parallel on Saturday, bringing dreamy desires for soothing enjoyment and romantic pleasures. On Sunday she is trine (120°) Pluto - it looks like she will ask him for some money to have a party while he's in a good mood. She's off to meet Jupiter on Tuesday for the most fun. Maybe they plan the party and invite all their friends, an easy task for Uranus on Wednesday as Venus and Uranus put their heads together in a parallel. All as if she is saying, "I had a great time in Leo and I don't want to go. As a matter of fact, don't forget me because I will be back in Leo on August 8, 2007 until October 8, 2007 for more fun. You guys are great so let's celebrate before I go off on a special mission and do some work in Virgo for awhile". Then she reports to the CEO, Saturn, on Saturday July 14th for her assignments when he tells her to leave him something at the station. The station is a point at 1°-2° Virgo where Venus will retrograde on July 27, 2007. This is the same spot where Saturn turns direct next spring (May 2008) after a long retrograde of its own. Very interesting!
As a pair they seem to say all kinds of things like "true love stands the test of time" or "breaking up is hard to do." They often create those May and December weddings where the partners have wide age gaps. Maybe they are planning a long-term investment that involves a woman leading a company or country (Hillery Clinton comes to mind.) They set the stage for a union then take something back. The agreement is pulled off the table then brought back. Seems like an important marriage or long-term commitment is hinged on certain criteria. If this were the old days when Kings took a Queen to grant peace between their nations this is what it might look like. The dance is not warm and fuzzy or romantic and sexy but calculated and measured. Any other ideas?

    The Moon "Out of Bounds"
Since the summer of 2001 the Moon has been traveling very high in the sky because its range in declination shots beyond the 23°27' line at the Tropic of Cancer in the northern sky and beyond the 23°27' Tropic of Capricorn in the southern sky. The Sun reaches its maximum north or south declination at these two boundaries at the summer solstice and winter solstice. When the Moon travels very high into these out of bounds zones it is not only higher in the sky but we seem to have stronger emotional reactions to events during these times. Here I will include the days of the month when the Moon travels out-of-bounds in declination. Times are rounded off to the nearest half hour. For the Month of July 2007 the Moon travels out-of bounds:

  • June 26 - 8:30 p.m., through July 1st at 10:00 p.m.
  • July 10 - 7:00 a.m. through July 14 - 8:30 p.m.
  • July 24 - 3:30 a.m. through July 29 -8:00 a.m.
  • Not again until August 6 - 11:00 a.m. until

  •     August 11th, 6:00 a.m.

2007 Good Days: As a matter of fact the good days are all hinged upon a decent aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius who acts as a hungry hound at the end of that sign, requiring you feed him and his litany of demands before tending to your own needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit. When other planets are very late in a sign then their symbolism has the last word as the Moon forms its last aspect before leaving a sign. This boreal summer Saturn becomes the latest planet for about two months from August 6-September 2. For the most part, until Pluto leaves Sagittarius next year, I do like a few Moon signs.

    Please read my
article on Refranations as they are an important astrological event marker.

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.
