A Lunar Eclipse occurs at 6:17 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 13° Virgo. This eclipse has an interesting lineage that goes back 9.5 years ago. It was on September 1, 1997 when a related Virgo solar eclipse occurred within hours of the death of Princess Diana. Five days later Mother Theresa passed away. It is no astrological coincidence that the British six o’clock news on March 2, 2007 reports that Mohamed Al Fayed wins a legal fight for a jury to hear the inquests into the deaths of Princess Diana and his son Dodi.
The Academy Award won last week for the film The Queen is about Queen Elizabeth II's behaviors surrounding Diana’s death.
I expect many things will emerge from that same time period that are meaningful to each of us in some way. Beyond reviving memories, things are going to be popping out of every corner with all of the Uranus involved in this eclipse. It reminds many astrologers of the August 1999 solar eclipse when Turkey was devastated by a horrific quake. Uranus was a big player then when it opposed the Sun and Moon and was a grand fixed cross. Mars and Saturn filled out the remaining corners of that cross. For now we can expect the unexpected along with a wide range of bizarre, lucky or sudden and abrupt events. The Sun joins Uranus twice in the next couple of days first with a parallel today followed by a conjunction of the two on March 5. The Sun and Venus line up in a compatible aspect on March 6. Venus (ruler of love, money and women) moves into aspect with Uranus on the March 7 just in time to make love, money and friendship very interesting this week. Venus will then begin a grand trine formation to Jupiter then Saturn on March 9, 2007. Someone could get very lucky. If you have planets or important points at 12°-14° Pisces you may be in line for some good news. Venus and Uranus combinations are present during big lottery wins. In business you can solicit more successfully or have an important show of your wares. Partnerships and relationships could have an unpredictable twist over this weekend, not necessarily bad either, and fair very well by Thursday and Friday. The closest aspect of the lunar eclipse chart does involve Venus which hints at the dramatic stock market drop we had earlier in the week. However, the aspect between Saturn and Neptune so near the lunar eclipse it exposed the economy’s weak spot and hiked up the price of gas as it did back in August. The general Virgo themes send out a calling to people to serve from the heart. It is also a time to quit bad habits and change diets. Align yourself with those that are most supportive and conclude matters where your service is complete. If you are a caregiver, the message may ring loudly to take care of yourself. Stay close to the source that supports your well being. Use prayer and meditation for the quickest results and generate peace and happiness. This week Mercury is changing back to its direct motion on Wednesday night 11:45 p.m. You’ll need to move about with greater caution as all the focus on Uranus is particularly haphazard. Look for the silver lining this week. It will be there. Take a break from the chaos and visit > Peace Village. ^top |
