  • There are six planets in Sagittarius until Venus breaks out on Monday morning. Nonetheless, for this weekend there is an abundance of Sagittarius energy. Expect to learn something new or enjoy a visual experience that opens the mind and changes ones perspective in ways we don't often invite. Open spaces may include a recently ended relationship that forces you to explore new territory. In light of a new setting there is a piece of you not yet developed. Maybe you have been held back and didn't see it that way until you were let out of your self inflicted cage. Imagine the gate of a secluded corral holding six wild horses opening its gates into beautiful prairie affront a backdrop of breathtaking mountains. The visual alone is inspiring. In some way this weekend we should all open any gate that appears to be holding us back. Even to identify our self-induced corrals could trigger a therapeutic shift in perspective. For some a virtual trip may work for those who need to get away from it. The theater can substitute for longer journeys or moving the furniture around for a new look in your old space. Plan a trip now for later. Study something new. Explore a new culture or just visit your in-laws. Any of the Sagittarius principals will be more than available for most of this month. Even though Venus leaves on Monday and enters her more suitable sign and like element, Capricorn, five planets remain and the Moon joins them on December 18th.
For sure this will not be all fun and games as Tuesday's Last Quarter Moon in Virgo carries an extra punch with the Sagittarius Sun being perfectly square (90°) the Moon's nodes. This is an important square for the Sun as it happens twice a year and is one of the markers for a bi-annual shift in energy. It indicates the onset of our current focus that began six months ago. Our storylines may have held along a similar theme and now, as this defining square approaches, a new story emerges. From the point of the Last Quarter Moon and through the New Moon on December 20, 2006 we can expect new events that fall upon us or that develop from within which will stay with us for the next six months, and culminate at the solar eclipse on March 18, 2007 at 28° Pisces. After that, the story winds down until the Sun is square the Moon's nodes again on June 2, 2007.

Take a break from the chaos and visit

    Please read my

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

    General Notes On Leo MoonsLeo
    - Good results for efforts thru Sunday at 3:35 p.m.
It is a fun day. There is also some confusion with the Sun and Neptune sextile today at 12:43 p.m. but mostly fantasy with an urge to talk about it with a conjunction between Mercury and Mars at 9:26 p.m. Perhaps you awoke from dream that set your mood for something out of the ordinary. There is a desire to do something creative or hear some good music or a show. It's a good day for most activities where dressing up makes it more fun. Mercury and Mars combinations set the stage for "foot in mouth" and a caution amidst daily routine right through Wednesday and Thursday as a parallel between this pair holds this aspect in place for the better part of the week. As with all Mercury and Mars aspects, beware of animals darting out into the road. Also children have something to say about what they would like to do. This could bring more school bus drama in the news. There certainly has been too much of that over the past couple of months.

    General Notes On Virgo MoonsVirgo
    - Good until v/c moon ends at 4:31 pm.
The day begins with the same Leo creativity that is great for making your own holiday gifts. There are thoughts of studying something new and spending some phone time with Mercury and Jupiter conjunct at 11:58 a.m. If you are drawn to a visit with a long-distance sibling then this is the time to make that a plan and to reach out to those very far away. This aspect may have more importance as a parallel between Mercury and Jupiter, reemphasizing the importance of a news story or other literary information (exact at 8:14 p.m. The void of course Moon period ends when the Moon enters Virgo at 4:31 p.m. Then a difficult time begins with some struggles to obtain peace and funding until Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. The Virgo Moon brings an energy shift and carries big ideas that meet with obstacles along the way. Even the mechanic has his hands full trying to sort out the real problems.

Blue, the color of Monday  Monday, December 11, 2006
    General Notes On Virgo MoonsVirgo
    - Difficult time maintaining peace and funding until Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. Choose Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for better results.
Venus changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn at 12:33 a.m. which invites an executive decision regarding the funding for troops or other necessities that require strong boundaries. The Mars and Jupiter conjunction falls short of honest assessment as Jupiter is nowhere to be seen in this conjunction. The Sun is too bright in the face of the crown prince of Sagittarius and the forces take a turn in a blind direction. If you have plans for expansion you may be totally in the dark about your capabilities or knowledge of the true situation.

    General Notes On Virgo MoonsVirgo
    - Difficult time maintaining peace and funding until Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. Choose Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for better results.
This day brings a laborious package and a twist in the areas of work and distribution of chores. The manager or boss may leave or be called on the carpet for mismanagement. This presents and opening that will be filled quickly. This is a high action day with the Last Quarter Moon exact at 9:32 a.m. Many matters have a relationship to the Lunar Eclipse last March. It's time for your reward or your bill. New stories replace the old with the Sun square the Moon's nodes at 6:48 p.m.

    General Notes On Libra MoonsLibra
    - Difficult until 5:00 am then Good results for efforts.
Virgo Moon changes over to Libra at 5:00 a.m. At that point a Good-Results-for-Efforts period begins.
A little cosmic indulgence with Venus and Neptune semi square at 2:05 a.m. will barely be noticed except in your dreams. The day forces the issue with the reoccurrence of Mercury and Mars in parallel at 8:47 p.m. Take care with whatever you say because it sticks. Choosing a new car might be one activity that fits.

    General Notes On Libra MoonsLibra
    - Good results for efforts. The good period continues thru Sunday, except for a brief interumption during the next void of course Moon period.
This looks like a good day for a party because Venus and Jupiter are joining in for some frivolity. They form a semi-sextile at 3:46 p.m., just in time to enjoy the evening. The Libra Moon can be a time of pairing off into couples, negotiation and compromise. This very social Moon is great for parties and other social gatherings. This is a good time to work on legal matters or any type of open discussions. It can be a good time to find a lawyer or personal counselor. You may find people who are more open and agreeable or at least approachable. With Libra there may be a greater expression of fairness present. There is a more gracious and civilized quality to any of the affairs when the Moon is in Libra.

    General Notes On Scorpio MoonsScorpio
    - Good thru next Sunday.
There are good results for your efforts until the void of course Moon at 4:52 p.m. The early part of the day is spent trying to put the jack-in-the-box back inside. Mercury and Uranus are square at 10:02 a.m. Quirky stuff happens and more is said out of turn. The void Moon last only 40 minutes from 4:52 p.m. until the Moon enters Scorpio at 5:42 p.m. Then it is Good for most efforts right through next Sunday. Friday night has a sexual quality with the Scorpio Moon which could lead to a jealous reaction.

MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE AFTER CONTRAPARALLEL SATURN AT 4:52PM - Dec 15 2006

    MOON ENTERING SCORPIO (8th Sign) Dec 15 2006 at 5:42 p.m.
Begin Good Results for Efforts through Sunday as the last aspect is contra parallel Venus.
Scorpio Moons direct emotions inward. People tend to react to psychological slights, real or imagined. "Payback" or "getting even" is often a mode of behavior. Threats can be used as a tactic of reaching one's objective. Often there are issues regarding other people's money, loans or insurance claims. Scorpio is a money sign, so there may be checks in the mail. A Scorpio Moon is a powerhouse for resources. This serious Moon surprisingly has a very funny sense of humor and considers sarcasm an art form. Sexuality is on the surface. Power struggles become the mode of the day as many strive for total control over their own interest. Watch out for the inevitable Scorpion Sting, Brooding and ugly behavior is a common mood with a focus on family disputes such as estate settlements. Scorpio Moons are passionate with the object of their attention and at time driven to obsessive behavior often with a need to create drama and a sense of dire urgency around issues. This is a good time to engage in subjects of where your extreme focus is required. Anything less may bring a period of frustration and boredom for Scorpio is a driven sign designed to maintain a high level of intensity. Other Scorpio themes may include information regarding pregnancies, births, deaths and their related estates, insurance and accounting matters. As a rule this Moon is very good for conducting business with loans, mortgages and estates. These days of the Scorpio Moon are not for lightweights. Know your opponent and be extremely well prepared. If you take on a major challenge it would be best to camouflage any sign of weakness. A good sparing partner is sometimes what the big guy or bully is seeking.
When you are opposing assertive experts you are not equally matched. However if you objective is to find someone to represent you that possess these skills, find your gladiator now. The best way to deal with hired guns is to keep in mind that he/she may use their skills against you, so set clear boundaries from the onset of your relationship. Take special care with things worth protecting; not exposing what is precious to unsuitable elements. These days are best used for elimination of waste, reorganizing finances and otherwise digging out from money drains in your business and personal accounts. Retail business often does very well during a Scorpio Moon as purchases tend to be significant. Selfishness and other nasty behaviors push relationships to the limit. On a personal level, taking steps to set you free of tormenting issues with a counselor is a positive use of Scorpio's need to transform. Accept the things you cannot change, change the things you can and be perfectly clear about the difference. A visit to your acupuncturist or massage therapist can assist with deep healing techniques that work best when the Moon is in Scorpio. This is a very good sign for planting, as it is moist and productive especially for vines. Also prune and irrigate during the Scorpio Moon.
The ruling planet for Scorpio is Pluto, now traveling through Sagittarius which is increasing intensity at its final degrees. It is currently at the Galactic Center (26° Sagittarius) which is the point where our Sun is located in our Galaxy, the Milky Way. The Moon, representing our daily needs and behaviors will have to deal with the tough controlling Plutonian characters with nearly all our affairs because Pluto is so late in the sign and the Moon forms its last aspect from most every sign to this heavy dark lord that holds court over, what once was, routine agendas unencumbered by red tape, adjusters, police and loan officers. Pluto at the end of Sagittarius for the next couple of years, carries heavy issues to a higher level or higher understanding--drudging up issues of irresponsibility where the pressure to change has not been greater in over 240 years. If you are a Scorpio, your power planet is transforming your solar second house of money, possessions and talents.
