The solar eclipse of September 22 is still quite active and the events in the news and in our personal lives are marked with high drama. Today's First Quarter Moon in Capricorn is involved in a heap of commotion that begins this week's report which ends with Friday's Aries Full Moon. Midweek there is a mini eclipse between the earth, the Moon and Uranus in Pisces. Two planets change signs beginning today with Venus entering Libra and Mercury entering Scorpio on Monday. Today, gracious Venus makes a positive move into one of her home signs, Libra. Here the love planet operates among some of her higher roles as counselor, lawyer and peacemaker. Upon her entrance she encounters a litany of communication problems, red-tape and crossed wires. Her highest qualities as negotiator and mediator are delayed until the mess is cleared up. The problems are identified by a couple of 90° angles. First, the square (90°) between the Libra Sun and Capricorn Moon occur at the First Quarter Moon. This in and by itself indicates there are issues between the sexes. After this the Moon moves onto then-square Mercury, found later in the sign of Libra. The square indicates a quagmire of details that involve sorting through misunderstandings or ill-chosen words from those in high posts (which could be your parents or your boss.) Venus in her new position is not happy to have her peace-making hands tied behind her back until the muddle is sorted out. The problem leaves another dark mark on the global report-card while under her watch, indicating that her most important task in the original agenda is ditched for the current dilemma. Of course it's then clear she is just performing the job she is most qualified to do. Her greatest challenge is getting the facts. "She" represents the cool head of counsel that may or may not be a female, but the qualities of peace, harmony and justice with the pacifying talents of an ace diplomat. Beyond the world story, today's First Quarter Moon sets communication problems for the individual who suffers undo frustration due to a lack of competence from those in charge and seeks compensation for efforts - and rightfully so. Unfortunately, the compensation comes up short. An example is you are given a future credit for services that were lost that you no longer want - maybe in the form of "comp-time". The reward is small pay for the sweat and stress endured. You must swallow the loss and move on. After all you are "finding yourself" along the way. On the bright side, the effort you have applied over the past nine-months is likely to receive a positive review now, but in a quiet corner. Don't lose hope and keep up the good work for greater rewards come in a year and a half when the big payoff arrives. By Monday you get the green light to get back to the business of earning a living. But, resist buying anything until Tuesday after 12:00 noon when you can negotiate your deals with greater success up until 11:58 p.m. the same day. Use Wednesday at your own risk with a very exciting occultation between the Moon and Uranus at 8:19 p.m. that is not the only twist for that day. The Sun is quincunx (150°) Uranus. That the "life's messy, clean it up" aspect with the king of disruption, Uranus. It may be haphazard. After that, Thursday has some bright spots but wait until Friday and Saturday for the best energies this week. The Full Moon packs a punch to both charts of the United States and its fearless leader, Mr. Bush. Both the US and Bush share the same Sun position at 13° Cancer which is symbolically banged in the head by the 13° Aries Full Moon. The Aries Moon Full Moon finalizes matters that began at a Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2005. That is when Pope John Paul was buried and Prince Charles and Camilla had to reschedule their wedding because of the Pope's funeral. Now a year and a half later, the Pope's successor is in the news and Charles and Camilla's marriage has bombed. It will be another exciting week!
