  • We are in an important eclipse season with a Lunar eclipse behind us and a New Moon Solar eclipse following on September 22, 2006. With this week's Last Quarter Moon in Gemini, it is a time to clean up the past and get ready for a major shift and new beginnings brought in by the solar eclipse New Moon.
In 1987 there was a solar eclipse at the same very sensitive degree of 29 degrees of Virgo that sits on the threshold of the world axis point of 0° Libra. This will bring global events to a head. The issues during this time have an urgent quality that presses for change. Poor designs and ill intents are eclipsed by the need for obvious reform. Those matters that have run out of control, over budget and beyond reasonable applications of power are called to accountability with a swing toward the just and the right-sized. Popular opinion is not as easily swayed by using past methods.
A few aspects to Neptune this week bring in stormy weather and misguided or secretive actions that require an adjustment as the Sun forms a 150° aspect to clandestine Neptune. This is that aspect I call "life's messy, clean it up". We may experience the effects throughout Saturday until it is exact on Sunday morning. Water damage and mold are obvious with this aspect. People that are struggling to conquer vices can seek help or suffer relapse. You may experience vague health issues that are repetitive and annoying. Co-workers are hard to pin down and schedules are illusive until this aspect passes.
There is an excellent opportunity to develop and create lasting contracts during the Taurus Moon beginning on Sunday at 2:30 p.m., right through Tuesday at 4:58 p.m. This is because of a unique final aspect of the Taurus Moon that will trine (120°) Mercury at the time Mercury changes signs, and being only 2 minutes before the Moon leaves Taurus. This indicates one is more likely to develop clear understandings and negotiate a propitious contract for all concerned.
Beyond direct contract negotiation it can be helpful in personal efforts that have been challenged by others who maintain some type of control over your activities. An example of this comes to mind that if you politely inform your cranky property owner of a change that has been a thorn of contention in the past; you fair a better chance of reasonable compromise in your favor. The key is to present your needs with a clear and respectful invitation that allows the other person the opportunity to cooperate. Present all well-prepared documentation and gain signatures where necessary. This is a great opportunity to sign mortgage and loan papers. Always with a Taurus Moon you risk losing some of what you are asking if you are pushy. On a global level this may help to slow down aggression and open tables for compromise.

    Moon Signs & Daily Summaries
    Please read my
article on Refranations as they are an important astrological event marker.

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

    General Notes On Aries MoonsAries
Positive Results for Efforts throughout the day. You may have to negotiate with monsters but eventually they can be tamed. After you get past the threats you are able to hear the fears and ponder a solution in a quiet space. Tomorrow's Sun-Neptune aspect can cause confusion and clouded conditions that require your attention. This evening may feel melancholic but you understand that an inner transformation is occurring. It is a good day to plan a clean-up mission but is best used with meditation and interactive spiritual support. Use Raja yoga (connect your soul to the supreme being), music, poetry, yoga.

Very Positive Results for Efforts during the Taurus Moon, which changes to Gemini at 5:00 p.m. You can soar through this day and close deals for long-term agendas. Travel is a primary focus. Introductions become important but bring a couple together that confront control issues. Perhaps they are task managers. MOON ENTERING TAURUS - Sep 10 2006
The Moon in Taurus is in its exaltation which normally indicates that there is a graciousness and honor of some sort. When the Moon is in Taurus, there tends to be a focus on finances, and often money comes through on these days. This is the Moon of tradition, concerned with matters of the family and gatherings. It is usually “food first” for Taurus Moons. Bonding is more apparent with loved ones. There is a need to get more grounded and find some peace and quiet. You may be carting about people or supplies. (Before automated vehicles, the bull pulled carts of supplies and people.) Taurus Moons can be lazier and more indulgent than usual. This can be a slow-moving couple of days with no rushing and lower blood pressure. The bull is more sensitive than they appear being also stubborn and not easily pulled off track. If there is a sense of being pressured this could incite rage especially if plans change without consulting the bull and then securing his/her approval. Don’t push, suggest. Find a way to make your pitch, sale or emotional plea politically palatable, practical and profitable to please and capture your benefactors’ attention. Remain sensitive and patient while watching the object of your attention become interested in your product. Making a pitch or sale with the Moon in Taurus can be tedious but you are often speaking to someone who has the means to fund your project or buy your products. If your can remember they don’t want to be pushed, they want to be seduced you will have much better luck. If you seem to be interested only in money you will loose their respect. When the Moon is in Taurus people like to buy things that are sensual to the touch. Fabrics need to be comfortable and relaxed but of high quality. Flannels, cottons and very soft wools are sought. Lots of food items, cooking and indoor/outdoor gardening are high on the activity list. This is a time to be nurtured and be nurturing. If the Taurus Moon occurs on an otherwise good day your powers of manipulation are strong. Your ability to move to the head of the line or the top of the list is greater today. Apply for a loan or mortgage. This is an excellent time for planting flowers and beautiful bushes. If you are a Taurus, matters tend to go your way.
