    		•  Not a light and airy Gemini New Moon at all with an extremely dramatic tone set by the 150° angle (a quincunx) between Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Sagittarius. The seed planted by the New Moon carries the events into the future for the next two and a quarter years. Mars in Cancer is accompanied by an asteroid Juno that is related to partners of marriage or other types of public pairs. Another asteroid is involved by a numerical connection, Ceres. Ceres relates to things that are serious, most often matters of survival such as basic nourishment. Ceres now in Aquarius is very near the Moon of the United States chart which is located at 27° Aquarius. Other basic needs could be indicated with this placement and a call out to find those that are missing. The symbolism brings to mind another heartbreaking miner's accident or something similar. A desperate tone is pressed on with the Mars-Pluto aspect and Mercury, as the ruler of Gemini, announces all of the information that passes without censoring the facts. This past week on Thursday a train was held under the river in New Jersey for two and a half hours. The people described the experience as an end of the world feeling. That event was a combination of yesterday's Mercury's square (90°) to Uranus coupled with the more slowly applying Mars-Pluto quincunx (150°). The headlines have mirrored the transiting events to the most remarkable symbolism. For instance, the dear race horse that broke his leg leaving the stall followed the symbolism of an event tied to the Neptune retrograde station. Neptune is the ruler of large farm animals. Such an event cast a cloud over the events of the past couple of weeks and beyond into this week. The guilty Enron verdict was timely during the week of a Last Quarter Moon which brings judgments and either rewards or the bill for matters in the past. Now at the New Moon we can expect one of the busiest travel weekends in the US.

    Mars and Pluto also rules the police. The selection of a new US CIA director would fall into this category. Two big changes for the personal planets will show an effect to our romantic sides as Venus enters her own sign of Taurus on Monday and Mars will enter Leo where he is much happier in his own element of fire. As Mars moves closer to Saturn over the next couple of weeks, relationship topics become more serious.

    Moon Signs & Daily Summaries
    Please read my     article on Refranations as they are an important astrological event marker.

    A Day Rating may not describe the feeling or your experience of that day but give details about the end result of your actions taken under that Moon sign period. A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

    These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

    Gemini Moon. A Good Day rating through Sunday evening with a fine sextile (60°) aspect to Venus in Aries. Vesta (investments) enters Leo at 6:31 a.m. Mars is in a nasty quincunx (150°) to Pluto, exact at 8:18 p.m. Until this aspect passes this energy dominates the moods. It's driven and compelling with a need to take action. Tempers burn from deep psychological issues. On the positive side it can supply an endless amount of energy to get things done.

    The Gemini Moon is a Good Day until the void of course Moon period beginning at 7:23 p.m. and ending at 8:34 p.m. when the Moon enters Cancer - then begins a Tricky period. The aspects today begin at 12:48 a.m. when the Gemini Sun is sextile (60°) Saturn. This is an aspect that gains the respect for doing the right thing. Support and cooperation can be expected from those in a position of authority. It's a busy day for a holiday weekend in the US. There is nothing lazy about this Sunday that is great for good food, shopping and visits with friends. Venus in Aries is impetuous with a 45° angle to erratic Uranus (exact at 11:22 p.m.). The combination could create spontaneous sparks of love or spending with cause for remorse later. If you are selling jewelry you might find plenty of impulsive spenders today. Mercury and Neptune form a beautiful trine (120°) just in time for dream land. Thoughts of divine inspiration. Musical ease. After 8:34 p.m. the Day rating switches to Tricky because Venus will change signs tomorrow morning. Your plans could fall short of satisfaction, especially when buying or adding something to the home. You may need to return the gift you buy for your mother.

The Sun is parallel Mars today exact at 9:00 a.m. This aspects puts a fire under the pot of creativity and forward action. One rough aspect between Mercury and Pluto (180°) will not be exact until tomorrow morning may have an effect on matters this evening. The aspect separates people over things said. Those trying to gain control over others may have to answer to higher authorities. Gates could be closed and road blocks prevent passing. Take a personal inventory of your own motives but keep detailed records in cases of problem relationships. The mind replays bitter words over and over. Try releasing those matters you can do nothing about and get some rest. Repeating what people have said is exhausting and non productive. Mercury can be released from Pluto's hell as Mercury is able to leave on his own.
