  • You will be thrilled to learn that Mercury turns direct at 8:43 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, ending its retrograde period that began on March 2. Not until July 4, 2006 will Mercury turn retrograde again. All planets turn retrograde and then direct at some point, referred to as “planet stations”. We have two more important planet stations over the next two weeks. Science tells us that the planets don't actually change direction at all - it's an optical illusion from our perspective here on earth. However, the geocentric (earth centered) study of astrology notes the effects on earth and human affairs from the motion of planets, the contacts made between them and their relationship to the Sun. Real or not, observation has taught astrologers that a planet's influence during its station period adds power to the innate nature of the planet and the sign it occupies during the station period, leaving a strong impression and creating a sensitive degree that can be felt for several years. This degree can be reactivated when an important transiting event triggers the station point at another time, either before or after the stationary event. We are amidst not only the effects of the Mercury station but also a Pluto retrograde station, scheduled turn retrograde on March 29 (the date of the Solar Eclipse) and Saturn at its station point which will turn direct on April 5. On March 4th Jupiter turned retrograde in Scorpio. The combined influence from all four planets so close to the 8° Aries Solar Eclipse (a push into the future) brings a period of great changes (Pluto) as we are put on notice (Mercury) of the deepest structural (Pluto & Saturn) renovations at this time, designed to incite a broader understanding (Jupiter)... in some areas shifting the very ground we stand on (see the map of the globe showing the path of the Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2006).

The combined influence from all four planets so close to the 8° Aries Solar Eclipse (a push into the future) brings a period of great changes (Pluto) as we are put on notice (Mercury) of the deepest structural (Pluto & Saturn) renovations at this time, designed to incite a broader understanding (Jupiter)... in some areas shifting the very ground we stand on (see a map of the globe showing the path of the Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2006). The integrated influence of the set of planet stations during this eclipse season can create a substantial (Saturn) change of agenda (Mercury) for those invested (Saturn) in vast control (Pluto) of the globe and its resources (Pluto). A pressure cooker quality persists during this time frame. The seed is planted to create an impact on the financial climate for the next three years marked by the Lunar Gestation Cycle of this Solar Eclipse. This period belongs to those running the show and more leaders are called up to the plate and for the individual to assume authorship of their own life. The executive is hired or replaced as people rise to their level of hierarchy to assist those in seats of power. Of course the experience gets personal when we experience a strong push into the next phase of our lives. If you did not respond to an earlier call for change you may have lost your place in that arena. But opportunities abound with the new Aries circus coming to town.

There will be those who assuming positions of authority in family, company or state as the time is here to pass the torch. For many during this time, health issues have drastically changed lives. Still more are experiencing drastic changes to careers, jobs and homes. Nearly everyone you speak to is engaged in life-changing events. Wednesday's Solar Eclipse seeds a new era of sorts. A period of bankruptcy is seeded with this eclipse. The message here is to step up to the plate, let go of the past so as not to be left in the dust. And that tolerance is short for those not pulling their weight.

This very day (March 25, 2006) holds a roster of astrological events all with long-term considerations because of so many stations and during the eclipse season. The day begins with the Sun (the director) trine - 120° (supported by) Saturn (the elder); Venus (things of value) square-90° (loss by conflicting factors) Jupiter (overexpansion); Mercury turning direct and Mars (action) trine-120° (guided by) Neptune (divine or intoxicated sources).

The positive aspect (120°) between the Sun and Saturn adds impregnability support, validating the Mercurial influence of decision making, announcements; with key movements that involved information made public today and around this eclipse season, all recognizing that time is a factor; i.e. things over a long period of time from either direction of past or future. Mercury at 13° of Pisces emerges with the facts quietly gathered from behind the scenes, not just over the past month but from years of covert activities or about other secrets that emerge from the lips of a major whistle blower. A strong push to let go of the lies and other veils of denial are the messages from Pisces (ruled by Jupiter and Neptune). Even Saturn often embedded in the old ways is willing to cooperate with any plan that has strong direction and shows leadership as indicated with the Sun/Saturn trine; this is a cue that Saturn's ready to shake off its retrograde dust on (April 5) at its stationary degree of 4° Leo and move into step with the future. The combination of Sun/Mercury/Saturn is corrective criticism, with pounding pressure from Pluto to change or lose it all. Combine all these ingredients with a very pregnant dark Moon that braces for the burst from brilliant seed at the Solar Eclipse at 8° Aries. By initiating your goals with long term agreements there are many benefits if you chose wisely assuming, you understand that change is eminent and more will be revealed. Pluto emphasizes this fact as the disposer of old baggage, Saturn is the ruler the karmic debt and Mercury in Pisces is the all important messenger speaking for both Jupiter and Neptune. Other facts to consider are those of survival, paranoia, credibility, illusion your current perspective. Sober thinking is required to discriminate information and carefully ponder each decision. With the insight from a seasoned astrologer you can gain a clear picture of what this all means to you.

  • Moon Signs & Daily Summaries
A Day Rating may not describe the feeling or your experience of that day but give details about the end result of your actions taken under that Moon sign period. A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

    General Notes On Aquarius MoonsAquarius
A Tricky Day, then becoming a Good Day after Mercury turns direct at 8:43 a.m. The Moon in Aquarius is tricky until Mercury turns direct. Then begins a Good Day with the last aspect parallel Neptune tomorrow. Repeating the above the aspects today effect your actions with long-term considerations. At 2:03 a.m. the Sun (the director) trines (is supported by) Saturn (the elder); at 7:08 a.m. Venus (things of value) squares-90° (loss by conflicting factors) Jupiter (overexpansion); at 8:43 a.m. Mercury turns direct and at 8:52 a.m. Mars (action) trines-120° (is guided by) Neptune (divine or intoxicated sources). This is a terrific day for a well-thought out plan.

    General Notes On Pisces MoonsPisces
A Good Time until the void of course Moon in Aquarius at 11:29 a.m. Then begins a Difficult Time when the Moon enters Pisces. The rating for the day from this moment on is difficult because the last aspect is the Moon square Pluto. Romantic notions create illusions with Venus conjunct Neptune at 1:29 a.m but you can also make beautiful music. Hard work is the order of the day as Mars is semi-square Saturn at 7:41 a.m. Men and women act in harmony when Venus is trine Mars at 9:40 p.m. Conclusion: Drop the power struggle and use all the cooperative energy to get the job done and add it into your creative portfolio. The toll keeper makes this an expensive day so that you may want to put off your purchases for another time. However, sell what you can and trash all unnecessary items or behaviors. Yard Sale!!

    General Notes On Pisces MoonsPisces
A Difficult Day. There are no planetary aspects today. The steam is building and the eclipse energy is budding. Take a wait-and-see attitude. Avoid power struggles and process the deep burns and hurts as paying off your karmic debt. The same applies for tomorrow.

    General Notes On Aries MoonsAries
A Difficult Time, then becoming Tricky after the void of course Moon, which starts at 10:20 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. when the Moon enters Aries. It is a tricky period because something will be reversed or dropped due to Pluto turning retrograde tomorrow. Juno enters Cancer at 6:58 a.m. until May 27th ;the feminine power is enhanced at the helm. There a no major aspects between the planets today.

    General Notes On Aries MoonsAries
The Solar Eclipse today is at 8° 35' Aries at 5:15 a.m. The Sun (director) walks into an opportunity by a sextile (60°) to Chiron (the wounded healer) at 3:28 a.m. This increases the transformative power imposed by Pluto's retrograde at 7:41 a.m. on the day of the Solar Eclipse. After the Pluto station the day improves and can be cathartic and revealing of the deepest dynamic in us all. The last aspect is contra parallel Venus and on Thursday will soften and support consulting, partners and sales.

    General Notes On Taurus MoonsTaurus
A Good day until 12:09 p.m. The Moon in Aries is void of course from 12:09 p.m until 4:01 p.m. when the Moon enters Taurus. An Expensive Day. Nothing much lost and nothing gained. The last aspect of the Taurus Moon is square Venus. Don't be the investor today. Sell your wares. Acquire more later if you wait for a better day. There is a need to dispose of things for a lack of space. Matters around friends and money do not mix well today.

    eneral Notes On Taurus MoonsTaurus
The Taurus Moon is the same as Thursday but added are a couple of aspects involving Ceres, the dead -erious asteroid of grief. She reclaims her child with a semi-square to Pluto and builds a shrine with an aspect to Vesta. Otherwise, take extreme care entering into long-term financial agreements as the indicators show you are in over your head.
