  • No, you are not crazy. There is more to this Mercury retrograde than those we have experienced in recent years. This one accompanies striking changes that are deep and life-changing for many. Observations challenge the illusion of balance in all directions. We are amidst the Eclipse season. Reports of a call for censures and deeper inquires of the activities of those in power, are no longer silenced with labels that discredit concerned voices as “fits of paranoia” – at last! We are witnessing the eruption of Pluto’s power. Holding more than an awareness of the deep and great changes ahead, Pluto sits stationary at the Galactic Center (26° Sagittarius). Pluto has been the focus of both last week’s Lunar Eclipse and the up and coming Solar Eclipse on March 29th. During this period the current astronomical alignment of Pluto shows it is not operating alone, but is linked closely by a parallel with Neptune – the planet of sleep and illusion. As concerns rise the cosmic consciousness emerges from a long hibernation bringing a voice to the epiphanies as a concern for truth hangs in the balance. A period of a placid numbness has allowed much of the current powers to infiltrate and conquer beyond expectation. Various seductions struggle to maintain a strong hold long enough to engage the wheels of their machine. It’s as if the Prozac ceases to induce placid effects to the pawns in this great scheme. As they begin to emerge from their zombie state the once silenced are now speaking with conscience and conviction. I chuckle to note what appears to continue the conspiracy with a popular sleep drug.

The New York Times reported that 26% of Americans are being prescribed Ambien for a restful night's sleep, but this report not include the latest little helper, Lunesta. Instead of resting, the Ambien patients are reported to be sleep-walking and morphing into mindless hulks, driving their cars while they are engaged in their apparent restful sleep. When they are arrested for various offences they have no memory of their strange behavior. Uranus calls out from its position in Pisces echoing a message: “this is not a drill”. “There is no time for a dress rehearsal.” WAKE UP!

Aside from Pluto, Spring arrives on Monday at 1:26 p.m. Extra Mars energy is present because while in Gemini he is “out of bounds” until May. Mars and Jupiter engage in an aspect that will force many issues by the end of this week. Business and personal attention is needed to maintain balance. This brings more attention to the fires currently raging out of control in the Western U.S. and elsewhere.

    General Notes On Scorpio MoonsScorpio
This Day is Expense-Angry-Accident Prone. Scorpio Moon with the last aspect trine the Sun will close matters of borrowed money, birth and death to a satisfactory close. But the day is complicated on a few counts. A couple of minor aspects occur between Venus, Uranus and Pluto. Problems between partners emerge suddenly as Venus aspects Uranus in a semi-sextile at 1:44 p.m. which is followed by an interesting configuration of a semi-square between Venus and Pluto at 2:14 p.m. that creates financial difficulties and issues involving squabbles over money, possessions and jealousies. Ordinarily a smooth resolve is available but a nasty square between Mars in Gemini and retrograde Mercury in Pisces (8:11 p.m.) causes confusion and those feeling insulted and misunderstood. Mars bangs Mercury broadside with two or more issues that may or may not belong to Mercury at all. Information is lost and a sense of despair creates enough sideways anger to fuel road-rage. Be cautious and try to practice being the observer today. Cut your losses and count your blessings. Look out for animals and children that run out into the street.

    General Notes On Scorpio MoonsScorpio
Good Day Scorpio Moon with the last aspect trine the Sun. Without major aspects today you are inclined to dig deeply into projects of psychology, borrowed objects and money and other more intense matters but gain the support you need from an influential person. Deeper relationship issues suffer from never ending power struggles from a stubborn and controlling Pluto sitting in opposition to the icon of marriage and bonded contracts, Juno. This aspect is slow moving and has been holding couples in stasis since before October 24, 2005. With Juno now moving direct, she pulls out from under the scrutiny and rule of her cold hard partner and expresses her versatility for making her own way. On the heels of a Lunar Eclipse square (conflicting) the pair suggests that the survival of one sided partnerships will be cut at this last pass of this opposition. You cannot continue to pay relationship debts with promises. A lack of mutual appreciation and support will encourage the giver to let go of the taker. Complaints of long and stagnant conditions are subject to the greatest change. This is an aspect that brought people together that assumed there would be reciprocal benefits. It's an aspect that reveals true colors.

    General Notes On Sagittarius MoonsSagittarius
A Tricky and Good until 2:53 a.m. Void of course is then until 3:42 a.m. Split with Refranation due to the Sun changing signs at 1:25 p.m. This day calls for the discrimination of a professional astrologer. A Scorpio Moon changing to Sagittarius at 3:42 a.m. indicates there is more trash to put out when the last aspect of the Moon is conjunct Pluto on Wednesday morning. If you are counting on someone else to be there for you before the Sun enters Aries 1:25 p.m., take into consideration that this important player moves on. Either yours or this person's efforts to save a sinking ship are surrendered. After long and grueling appeals fail to reach the desired effects it becomes clear to cut your losses.

    General Notes On Sagittarius MoonsSagittarius
Mercury is semi-sextile Venus at 2:11 a.m. which may allow a restful sleep for the U.S. and a sweeter awakening in Europe. But the aspect passes with peaceful sentiment as an offering. This day moves on with less complication than Monday with all things considered. Such as Mercury is still retrograde, Pluto is stationary and the last contact for the Moon in this sign meaning people in position of power, such as the insurance agents, the banker who approves your loan or the giver or lender is in charge. Don't push but be creative. Matters involving foreign countries and travel have pull now. Something more is learned about borrowing and lending that will be taken to a higher level. Expanding debt is tricky and unwise at this time. Investments are best made for education.

    General Notes On Capricorn MoonsCapricorn
Sagittarius Moon is void of course at 4:47 Aa.m. until 10:34 a.m. as the Moon enters Capricorn and stays in that sign until Friday. The Last Quarter Moon occurs today at 2:10 p.m., making this an action day, especially for those deeply invested to make things work between partners, receive healing support and an opportunity to unite and renew with the help of wise counsel from either inner or outer sources (Chiron contra parallels Juno and Pallas). This aspect also effects the role of the judicial system. Many reports and announcements of government and judicial activities today. The Iraq war is a strong topic (due to the Moon Family connection at 2° Capricorn). This quarter Moon demands results now or pay the consequences. The last aspect of the Capricorn Moon is sextile Jupiter Thursday. The outcome for many executive decisions is optimistic with a need to be reviewed latter. There are no major aspects between the planets to stand in the way. The planets and their aspects represent other people that have a say or other action in your affairs. Take charge of your own business today and expect positive results. A great aspect for excellent counsel occurs Thursday morning that can help you today.

    General Notes On Capricorn MoonsCapricorn
The Capricorn Moon's last aspect is sextile Jupiter at 6:30 p.m. Go for it today. Approach the head of the company with a well-prepared plan. Expect support. If you don't receive approval for your request, look for a lead to the next best resource. An aspect between Mercury (making contacts and decisions) and Pallas Athena (vision and counsel) brings advice you can take to the bank (read the fine print as Mercury is still retrograde).

    General Notes On Pisces MoonsPisces
A Complicated,Tricky Day with the Moon in Capricorn, becoming void of course until 2:20 p.m. when the Moon enters Aquarius and stays there through Sunday. This is an eventful day, including a Mars Jupiter quincunx (150°). That the "life's messy, clean it up" aspect. This brings out the brute strength of Mars forcing an action between expansive Jupiter. This can pump up the assistance. It is a day for laborers and accelerated physical action. Its also a health aspect that can strain the muscles including the heart. Police stop speeders. Get a ton of work done today. Notwithstanding all this, a major event could occur that directs your attention to another area or something that supports your needs. It is one of only two days in the year when the Sun will conjunct the Node of the Moon at 10:44 p.m. It can set off a global story that has eclipse-type energy associated with it. Expect more fires and noise today and remember to hold everything as Mercury turns direct tomorrow. Your decisions are best made after 8:43 a.m.

The Sun at 0° Aries is at the point called the world axis, often seen as the most action-sensitive degree in the zodiac. This is true at the first day of the change of each season. This Spring chart shows the Moon in Sagittarius making a statement about foreign affairs, travel and higher education.

MERCURY SEMISEXTILE VENUS - Exact Mar 21 2006
Brief description: When Mercury is ahead of Venus there will be information regarding the yield from bank accounts and resources. Problems may arise from a lack of information that would have an effect on the characters in these relationships. For business use: Open up the lines of communication for easy access to the employee. Look into the paper trail around spending. Light advertising and jewelry sales.

SUN SESQUISQUARE JUPITER - Exact Mar 23 2006

Traveling energy; boisterous arrogance; the legal snag or loop hole are all characteristics of this aspect. Over-confidence and at the same time, too big for one's britches. One or something could be obnoxious. There is a restless need to get away. Education is obtained through rude experiences. The light is shining on tight knitted problem areas but there is little that can be done until there is an obvious infraction. This particular aspect may be over zealous with a piece of information or its value.
For personal use: Gather broader sections of information as a piece to a puzzle. There are some problems.
For business use: A noble idea may have a better chance of development in the summer months of 2004.

Music, poetry and meditation are a positive example of this aspect. Again, a desire to escape. A difficult misunderstanding leads to a sticky web. Sloppy habits that lead to errors or misjudgments. Missing links and false support. Advisors may offer deceptive or bad information. Oil prices are an issue. Confusion is experienced. An annoying problem involving a friend crops up. Group attendance is off and social support for an idealistic cause falls flat. Subconscious reactions set off addictive behavior.
For personal use: Stay clear of complicated entanglements. Music, poetry and meditation are a positive use of this energy.
For business use: Unmask the vision. Check everyone's motives.
