The current MOON PHASE:  First Quarter Moon is at 24° 56' LIBRA on Monday, June 29, 2009, at 7:28 a.m. In the following table, there is a group of Moon phases called a "Moon Family". A Moon Family is special because each phase shares a lineage with this week's Libra First Quarter Moon. began with a New Moon nine months ago.
