The current MOON PHASE:  New Moon at 08° ARIES 35' on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 5:11 a.m. EST. In the following table, there are the four related Moon phases that form a group called a “Moon Family”. A Moon Family is special because each phase shares a lineage with this week's New Moon. This Moon Family begins with a New Moon. Notice all four Moon phases occur near the same zodiacal location and are separated by nine-month intervals.
