The current MOON PHASE:  First Quarter Moon at 16° GEMINI 07' on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 3:16 p.m. EST.

In the following table, there are the four related Moon phases that form a group called a “Moon Family”. A Moon Family is special because each phase shares a lineage with this week's First Quarter Moon. This Moon Family began with a New Moon nine months ago. Notice all four Moon phases occur near the same zodiacal location and are separated by nine-month intervals. A Moon family is a remarkable timing tool that links the dates of your story-lines in a pattern that develops over a two-and-a-quarter-year period. I have named this pattern the “Lunar Gestation Cycle” and, when grouped, it forms a “Moon Family”. See if your current situation connects to the dates in the table:

New Moon New Moon First Quarter Moon First Quarter Moon Full Moon Full Moon Last Quarter Moon Last Quarter Moon
06/06/2005
16° Gemini 16´
03/06/2006
16° Gemini 07´
12/05/2006
12° Gemini 43´
09/04/2007
11° Gemini 12´

Try making your own projections with the dates in this Moon Family. Think about your life currently in themes related to the dates found in this super Moon Family, giving your story a bigger picture perspective that connects to this predictable timetable. Each phase carries your storyline back to past dates and into the future along a path with a logical evolution. The surrounding events of the current Lunar Eclipse Family showed a pivotal change at these Moon Family dates. Expect related topics, either personal or to resurface on the dates shown in the future. By following the symbolism of the four Moon phases/stages, you develop greater insights to timing and meaning of the events in your life. As the phases form at nine month intervals, you will see your events emerge as:

  • New beginnings at the New Moon stage
  • The progressive and enthusiastic growth stage at the First Quarter Moon
  • The deadlines, full disclosure, case presentations, weddings and the like brought about by the Full Moon
  • The payoff or reward at the stage that brings matters to a close by the time the Last Quarter Moon occurs

  • The First Quarter Moon period is a time for action. Things happen, often on the very day of a First Quarter Moon. A clue to what happens is found in the symbolism of the zodiac sign, and at times the degree can be a hot number if it is related to the degree of an eclipse of past or present. In this case the First Quarter Moon is in the sign of Taurus with roots to a New Moon nine months ago on June 6, 2005, when events from that time seeded the current scenario in your life. You may be concerned with these subjects from last May as they indicate signs of growth. This high-energy time is perfect for nurturing the development of an important project, a private or public event, or a relationship. You are now ready for change and equipped with the enthusiasm to move forward with your selected activity. If the issues are not directly related to your story than an awareness of a highly publicized matter might grab your attention and entice you to change your mind or become committed to an ideal in some way.

This First Quarter Moon continues to develop the current issues to the next high action time at the Full Moon on December 12, 2006, when all the issues will be clearly out in the open. The Last Quarter Moon brings a time of judgment, review or consequence at a time to when you can collect what is owed to you or pay your debts around September 4, 2007.

The sign Gemini of this First Quarter Moon offers clues of the nature of the matters at hand.
